We Would Love to Meet You!
My name is Olivia Cruz and I am the co-owner of Arecibo with Bill Mansikka, who is also my dad. I have a passion for cooking and trying different foods. I married into a Puerto Rican family over 10 years ago and have been learning about the wonderful food and culture ever since.
Bill is a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He also works as a land surveyor in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. His wife (my mom) and he also recently sold there beautiful home in Kauai, Hawaii to move back to the area and begin this family business venture.
Arecibo is a taste of Puerto Rico in the Monterey Bay. We are a new family owned and operated business. We will operate a food truck in the area in the near future.

Our Inspiration and Dreams
Our company, Arecibo, is named after the town in Puerto Rico my mother-in-law's family is from and also the name of the amazing observatory housing the world's largest single-aperture telescope.
Our hope is to bring a food truck to the Monterey Bay area and we are working very hard to make this happen!
